MoMaintenance collects the following categories of personal and sensitive data:

MoMaintenance apps are designed for internal company use and are used by employees. While no personally identifiable information (PII) such as names or contact details is collected, the app does collect sensitive data such as location information and app usage logs for operational purposes.

Usage data: App usage logs to improve performance and fix bugs.

Location Data (Foreground and Background):
We collect both approximate and precise location data (via GPS and network-based sources) during active work sessions. This includes:
- Real-time location when employees clock in or out at job sites
- Periodic background location checks (e.g., every 5 minutes) during active jobs
- Location event logs for work verification and payroll compliance
  We do not collect location data outside of work hours or when users are clocked out.

4. Purpose & Use of Data

We use the data to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve app functionality.
- Authenticate your account.
- Diagnose app issues and enhance performance.
- Send you notifications related to app updates or support.
- Verify job site attendance: Ensure employees are physically present when clocking in/out.
- Monitor geofence compliance: Detect if an employee leaves the assigned work area and initiate warnings or auto clock-out.
- Prevent time fraud: Ensure payroll accuracy through verified work presence.
- Generate audit trails: Create a log of employee presence for regulatory and billing purposes.

5. Data Sharing

We do not share personal data with third parties except:
- Service providers who help with analytics or crash reporting.
- When legally required (e.g., in compliance with law enforcement requests).

6. Sensitive Permissions Disclosure

MoMaintenance only accesses sensitive permissions necessary for core functionality. Any request for personal data is clearly explained at the time of request, in accordance with Google’s User Data policy
Sensitive Permissions Disclosure MoMaintenance uses sensitive permissions necessary for core app functionality, including: ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION and ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION: Used to detect employee presence at job sites and enable GPS-based job assignments. ACCESS_BACKGROUND_LOCATION: Used for continuous geofence monitoring during active work sessions to prevent time fraud and ensure compliance. These permissions are only active while the employee is clocked in and are required for critical features such as clock-in verification, geofence alerts, and audit logs. Users are notified of permission requests and may manage permissions in device settings.

7. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures (AES encryption, HTTPS, access controls) to protect data in transit and at rest.

8. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your personal data only as long as needed for the purposes described. You may request deletion of your account and associated data any time via [sales@momaintenance.com]. Once requested, your data will be permanently deleted unless legally required otherwise .

9. Children Under 13

If users are under 13, parents or guardians must consent before data collection. We comply with COPPA and provide mechanisms for parental review and deletion

12. Background Location Usage

Background location access is only enabled when employees are actively clocked in to a job. It allows MoMaintenance to: Monitor geofence compliance and send real-time alerts Automatically clock out employees who leave the job site Ensure accurate time tracking for payroll and billing Location tracking stops immediately once the user clocks out.

The app does not collect any background location data outside of working sessions.
